Interview with Eunseo

자기 소개를 해 보세요. /Please introduce yourself. 

A. 안녕하세요  대한민국의 가수, 싱어송라이터 은서(eunseo)입니다.

저는 은서(eunseo)만의 감성과 부드러운 음색을 다양한 장르의 음악으로 풀어 대중들과 이야기하고 소통해나아가는 아티스트입니다. / Hello, I'm Eunseo, a Korean singer-songwriter.

I am an artist who talks and communicates with the public by releasing Eunseo's unique sensibility and soft tone into various genres of music.

 앨범/싱글이 몇 장이나 있습니까? / How many albums/singles do you have? 

A. 피처링으로는 ‘frame’ 한곡과

자작곡으로는 저의 첫 싱글 ‘Daybreak’ 와 ‘출항’,  총 세 장입니다./Featuring "frame" and

My first single "Daybreak" and "Leaving" are three songs I wrote.

 당신의 가사는 무엇을 이야기합니까? / What does your lyrics say? 

A. 곡의 느낌과 선율, 그리고 저의 상황에 따라서 다양한 이야기를 하는 것 같아요.

주로 사랑을 주제로 이야기를 많이 풀어 나아가는 것 같습니다. /I think I talk about various things depending on the feeling and melody of the song and my situation.

I think I'm mainly talking about love.

 음악적으로 계획이 어떻게 되십니까?/ What's your plan musically?

A. 저의 자작곡들을 하나씩 발매할 예정입니다! 

정말 좋은 노래들이 너무 많으니 기대해주신다면 감사드리겠습니다. 

그리고 제가 밴드활동중에 있습니다. 

밴드명은 ’희끄무레‘입니다.

이번에 서울거리공연을 많이 할 예정이니 저희 밴드에게도 많은 관심 주시면 감사드리겠습니다. /I'm going to release my own songs one by one! 

There are so many good songs, so I'd appreciate it if you look forward to it. 

And I'm in the middle of a band. 

The band name is 'Hee-kkumure.'

We are planning to perform a lot on Seoul Street this time, so we would appreciate it if you could show a lot of interest to our band as well. 

 모든 트랙 중에서 어떤 곡에 가장 애착이 많으신가요?/

 Which song are you most attached to out of all the tracks?

A. 항상 바뀌는 것 같아요. 지금은 저의 미발매곡이 제일 애착이 가지만

발매된 곡 중에 하나를 고르자면 지금은 따스한

봄의 느낌과 어울리는 ‘Daybreak’

를 많이 듣고 있습니다./ I think it always changes. I'm most attached to the unreleased song right now

If I have to choose one of the released songs, it's a warm song

"Daybreak" that goes well with spring

I've been listening to a lot of things.

 당신이 가장 좋아하는 인용구나 말은 무엇입니까?/ What are your favorite quotes or words? 

A. ’그치만 좋아‘ 라는 말을 좋아합니다.

뭐든 힘들고 고난과 역경이 있을 수 있으나 그치만 이또한 내 자신이 선택한 길이고, 나의 앞날을 위한 거름이라고 생각하기 때문에 무었이든

 ‘그치만 좋아~!’

라고 생각하면서 생활하는 편입니다./ I like the phrase 'but I only like it'.

Everything can be hard and difficult, but I think this is also the path I chose and the fertilizer for my future, so whatever it is

 "That's all I like!"

I tend to live with that in mind.

 무엇이 당신의 창의력을 자극합니까? / What stimulates your creativity? 

A. 꿈 입니다.

앞으로 하고싶은 일이나 상황을 꿈이라고 지칭하기도 하지만 저는 우리가 잠을 잘때 꾸는 꿈을 말씀드립니다. 곡을 쓸때 자다가 생생한 꿈에서 깨어나

일어나서 쓰는 경우가 많습니다!

그래서 그런지 꿈에 취해서 그 상황을 노래로 푸는 경우가 많았던 것 같습니다./It's a dream.

I sometimes refer to the things I want to do in the future as dreams, but I tell you the dreams we have when we sleep. When I write a song, I wake up from a vivid dream in my sleep

I often get up and use it!

Maybe that's why I was so drunk on my dreams that I often solved the situation with songs.

 당신의 음악에 익숙하지 않은 사람들에게 어떤 노래를 추천하시겠습니까? /What song would you recommend to people who are not familiar with your music?

A. 저의 음악은 다향한 색을 갖고 있는거같아요!

그치만 R&B의 색을 주로 갖고갑니다.

앞으로 나올 저의 음악과 비슷한 음악을 추천해드리자면  ‘H.E.R - Let me in’ 이라는 곡 추천드립니다./I think my music has a variety of colors!

But I usually take the color of R&B.

To recommend a song that's similar to my music in the future, I recommend "H.E.R - Let me in".

 당신이 가장 좋아하는 음식과 음료는 무엇입니까?/What is your favorite food and drink?

A. 타로버블티를 좋아합니다. 너무 좋아해서 저의 활동명을 타로를 거꾸로한 ‘로타’로 정할 뻔 하였는데 지금도 고민중에 있습니다./I like taro bubble tea. I like it so much that I almost chose "Rota" as my name, but I'm still thinking about it.

 

 10년 후에 당신은 어디에서 일하는 것을 보십니까?/ Where do you see yourself working in 10 years? 

A. 지금과 똑같이 작업실에서 곡을 만들지만 저의 음악이 대중분들에게 많은 사랑을 받고,대단한 아티스트 음악인 분들과 교류하면서  아티스트로서 활발한 예술활동, 음악을 하고싶습니다./ I make songs in my studio just like now, but my music is loved by the public, and I want to interact with great artists and musicians and do active artistic activities and music as an artist.

 다른 아티스트와 협업할 기회가 있다면 어떤 아티스트가 될까요?/If you had a chance to collaborate with another artist, who would it be?

A. ’크러쉬‘님과 협업을 해보고싶은 큰 꿈이 있습니다. 음악을 너무 잘하시고 ’크러쉬‘님의 장르를 사랑합니다. 그 날이 올때까지 열심히 음악을 해보겠습니다./I have a big dream that I want to collaborate with Crush. He is such a good musician and I love his genre. I will work hard until that day comes.

 당신이 존경하는 특별한 아티스트가 있습니까?

’마이클잭슨‘ 입니다.

대중적으로 제일 유명한 곡이 많지만 수록곡들 또한 메인타이틀 곡 못지않게 대단한 곡들이 많습니다.

모든장르를 소화하면서 대중들 까지 사로잡는 멋진 아티스트 ‘마이클잭슨’.존경합니다!/It's "Michael Jackson".

There are many popular songs, but there are as many great songs as the main title songs.

특별한 재능이 있습니까?/Do you have any special talent? 

A. 긍정적인 마인드입니다.

무슨 일이든 항상 좋게좋게 생각해 나아가는 것이 저의 특별한 재능입니다./It's a positive mind.

It is my special talent to always think good of anything.

 당신은 여가시간에 무엇을 하는것을 좋아합니까?/What do you like to do in your free time? 

A. 커피 한잔을 손에 듭니다. 두귀에는 이어폰끼고 제일 좋아하는 음악을 들으며 목적지 없이 무작정 걸으면서 주변풍경을 구경하는 것. 말이 길어졌는데

여유와 사색을 즐기는 걸 좋아합니다!/I hold a cup of coffee in my hand. I listen to my favorite music in my ears while walking aimlessly without a destination. I've been talking for a long time

I like to enjoy relaxation and contemplation!

당신의 취미는 무엇입니까?/What is your hobby?

A. 눕기입니다. 가만히 누워서 아무것도 하지 않는 것이 저의 요즘 취미입니다! 복잡한 삶에서의 한줄기 단물 같은 시간입니다./Lying down. Lying still and doing nothing is my hobby these days! It's a sweet time in a complicated life.

 당신이 좋아하는 음악 장르는 무엇입니까? /What is your favorite music genre? 

A. R&B 입니다! 정석 R&B도 좋지만 다양한 장르와 섞인 R&B도 너무 사랑합니다./It's R&B! Standard R&B is good, but I love R&B mixed with various genres.

 앞으로 몇 년 동안 목표는 무엇입니까? /What are your goals for the next few years?

A. 지금보다는 대중들에게 좀 더 다가가 알려지는 것이 목표입니다. 그렇기 때문에 많은 음악활동과 

희끄무레 밴드활동, 좋은 앨범을 내는 것이 일단 앞으로 몇년의 목표입니다/My goal is to get closer to the public and get to know them. That's why I want to promote my music 

My goal for the next few years is to make a good album and to be a band member.

 팬/독자들에게 보내는 메시지?/Message to fans/readers?

A. 앞으로 더욱더 좋은 음악과 공연으로
